What have you believed to be normal in your marriage?

How does this “normal” sit with you?

There are so many misconceptions and societal expectations about marriage, and I want to explore these notions this week.

Too often, we find ourselves stuck in our marriages because things aren’t going as “normal.” We limit our individuality, hinder our personal growth, and feel pressured to show up in a way that doesn’t align with who we are.

I want to challenge these conventions and empower you to embrace your true you within your most intimate relationship.

Whether you are single, in a committed relationship, or simply interested in understanding the intricacies of modern relationships, this episode is for you.

This week I’m continuing my rant as I help you explore what is normal in your marriage when it comes to:

  • Sex
  • Conflict
  • Dependence/Independence/Interdependence
  • Knowing each other
  • How easy it is to have a good marriage
  • Deciding if the best is yet to come
  • Your ability to create happiness and joy with your spouse

If you’ve believed something to be normal within marriage and it doesn’t feel exhilarating, I suggest you check out this week’s AwakenYou in your Marriage episode. Episode 122: Shattering the Myth of “Normal” in Marriage will help you decide what you want to consider normal so you can stop residing in a lackluster relationship.

I am a marriage coach helping women and couples turn their loveless & disconnected marriage into something better than they ever imagined possible. Once you’ve started to open up to what is possible together we create a path towards the marriage you crave.

If you feel sad and powerless about your marriage’s state of affairs, I’d love to chat with you about how you’re feeling and what moving towards something different could look like. Book your Courageous Love Conversation Inquiry Call today, and let’s talk about how to get started.
