This past Saturday we celebrated our 10 year anniversary of show promotion in the best way possible! The 2012 Minnesota Army National Guard’s NPC Gopher State Classic was our largest show yet with 158 registered athletes and a sold out prejudging and evening show! We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of our competitors, spectators, sponsors and vendors for helping to make this event the best it could be!

Men’s Bodybuilding Masters Overall: Bob Sauter of the 35+ class took home the master’s overall medallion. Sauter is a Police Officer from Farmington, MN.
Men’s Bodybuilding Overall: Chad Herr, who has competed in NPC shows in the past and won his WNBF pro card in 2006, won the light heavyweight class and the men’s bodybuilding overall title.
Men’s Physique Overall: Class A winner Daniel Barber, 25, from South Myrtle Beach, CA took home the Men’s Physique Overall trophy. This was Barber’s first competition.
Women’s Physique Overall: Jen Louwagie, 35, from Marshall, MN took home the women’s physique overall, as well 1st place in the women’s physique masters class. Louwagie previously placed 1st in Figure D and took home the Figure Master’s Overall title at the 2011 Christine Bongiovanni North Star.
Figure Masters Overall: Gina Amatuzio, Masters 40+ class, won the Figure Master’s Overall medallion. Amatuzio is a the owner of PhyEd Health Club in Duluth, MN.
Figure Overall: The Figure Overall title went home with Ariel Jauss, 24, at her first competition. Jauss is a student and personal trainer at PhyEd Health Club from Duluth, MN.
Bikini Overall: Libbie Dahl, 26, won the bikini A class and the Bikini Overall title. Dahl works as a personal trainer in Eau Claire, WI.
